a. 01/12/2001, the R&D for Holographic Phase Masks (HPM) and Diffractive Optics was launched by StockerYale Canada in Montreal Quebec. The HOE executive standard was issued in the same year, and became the global PM industry standard. During the year 2002, the mass production had been established.

b. 09/14/2009, Stockeryale Canada was acquired by Coherent (USA). The HOE production was relocated to Sunnyvale, California during July, 2010.

c. 07/28/2014, Phasemask Technology (USA) acquired all tangible and intangible assets of Coherent diffracive optics section. PMT in Fremont is continuing the same business as before, including manufacturing full range of Phase Masks  and binary gratings so far. Our recent project is making small period holographic gratings for semiconductor/fiber laser, large chirp rate covering long active area and phase shift phase masks etc..
